Tip: Use FaceTime to Call Your Kids at Home

Megan Morrone had a tip for parents on iOS Today 260. If you have children that are old enough to be alone in the house for a couple of hours, but you'd like to easily check up on them, FaceTime could help.

FaceTime will allow you to call another device even if it's on the same account. So if you have an iPad in addition to your iPhone, you can leave the iPad at home and call it from your iPhone. Or your kids could call you from the iPad if they need something. This is especially useful if your kids don't have phones of their own, and if you don't have a landline phone at the house.
