Before joining TWiT in 2014, Tonya held corporate marketing and management roles within several major consumer brands. Tonya’s experience in building customer loyalty, product innovation and brand advocacy have been an asset when assisting brands become engaged in the new media world. She believes that marketers need to spend more time listening and less time talking. She knows that consumers are real people with real passions who don’t like to be referred to as segments of a target market. She is confident that if brands love their customers they’ll love them back. She believes this is the formula for genuine word-of-mouth marketing. Tonya launched her first social media radio show on Cumulus Media in 2010.
