Tip: Get the Google Chrome Redesign Now

Paul Thurrott’s app pick from Windows Weekly 567 is Google Chrome 68. If you feel like the look and feel of Chrome is old-fashioned with the weird trapezoidal tabs that have been there since day 1, Chrome 68 will address this. It’s coming out later in the year, and it will match Google’s still-not-released new material design 2 spec. They’re going away from hard edged corners to rounded corners, including a more circular address bar. If you get Google Chrome version 68 in the Canary Build, you can enable a flag that turns all of those new design features on.
