An executive role where you will oversee all aspects of accounting, manage staff accountant, oversee HR with ADP (PEO program), direct finance actions of the enterprise, and help the CEO lead the sales team. Video Editor and Studio Engineer

TWiT is seeking a creative studio engineer and editor with cinematography skills. We are looking for someone who is proficient with cameras, audio and video equipment, and the latest applicable software to produce live events and downloadable videos/podcasts.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Editing, producing and publishing podcasts in various audio and video formats.
  • Creating promotional videos and custom graphics.
  • Editing and publishing YouTube clips and Flash Briefings for the Amazon Echo.
  • Assisting producers with various tasks.
  • Perform all phases of production: pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio, and video recorders, live editing/production equipment, props, and microphones.
  • Operate and maintain proper levels of calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other live production equipment.
  • Generate, sustain, and guide the creative process.
  • Discover innovative ways to create cutting-edge results.
  • Controlling live studio production using TriCaster 8000, audio mixing boards and lighting boards.
  • Engage in research to extend production procedures and techniques.
  • Exercise independent judgment while directing live studio video productions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere/CS/CC.
  • Basic knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition), Google Apps (spreadsheets and word documents), and Cloud Storage solutions (Dropbox, Google Drive).
  • You must be detail-oriented and capable of following our production and publishing processes.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends as needed or required.
  • Knowledge of camera operation.
  • Skilled in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
  • Skilled in live video production and directing.
  • Artistic and innovative with precise attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of live studio production techniques.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of digital processes and production equipment.
  • Practical, technical, and creative expertise.
  • Familiar with the latest technology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt ideas and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to give clear instructions and to accept direction.
