Digital Sales Specialist

Artisanal Agency is seeking a full-time Tech Podcast Sales Specialist to join our forward-thinking advertising team in Petaluma, CA.

This is a fairly broad role that includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Approaching potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means
  • Prospecting and lead generation. Identifying and contacting companies that are likely to advertise on tech podcasts
  • A consultative selling style, building strong relationships for the management of accounts
  • Building proposals with accurate pricing and value to clients to complete the full-cycle sale
  • Studying and understanding all facets of media. Explaining the benefits and potential audience of specific media advertising offerings to potential clients
  • Facilitating successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company
  • Adding notes to records for each client call or meeting to CRM and systems of record
  • Using phone, email, and social media to approach new potential clients
  • Building a sales pipeline and maintaining client relationships
  • Keeping organized notes and accurate information on an internal CRM database
  • Achievement of sales targets and quotas


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years inside/outside sales experience, preferably selling media or advertising solutions
  • Consistent over-achievement in past positions; a proven track record of performance
  • Proven social selling acumen
  • Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision-makers and determine their business growth needs, pain points and buying process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, diligent in documenting the selling cycle and collaborating across accounts as needed
  • A tech enthusiast and technically adept
  • Self-motivated, and driven by results
  • Excellent storytelling skills; Proficient at PowerPoint, Google Slides or similar
  • Highly organized
  • Experience with CRM and prospecting tools:, LinkedIn, etc
  • Field event execution experience is a plus
